  1. 1
Work only domains that welcome brokers

The broker desk lists proven domains whose owners switched on Brokers welcome and set a fee. You can take on any of them; you cannot work a domain whose owner has not.

  2. 2
    The fee is the owner's

The fee on the desk is what the owner pays the broker who brings the buyer, as a percent of the sale. You may not ask the owner or the buyer for more on top through proven.domains.

  3. 3
A buyer you bring stays yours

Each domain you work gets a sales page with your name on it and without the owner's. A buyer who opens it and writes within 30 days writes to you, even from the owner's page, and the first time they write we record the introduction with its date. Leave a buyer unanswered for 3 days and they can write to the owner. The fee is agreed between you and the owner; we keep the record, we do not enforce it.

  4. 4
    Say what is true

Your sales page carries our checks: proof of ownership, the registry record and every WIPO case. Do not tell a buyer anything those checks contradict, and do not reveal the owner until a deal is agreed.

  5. 5
    Money moves outside proven.domains

We never hold money and take nothing. We recommend an escrow service that pays the owner and you when the domain moves.
